AudioPass (Beta)

An open source virtual microphone app for Linux

AudioPass creates a virtual microphone, and all you need to do is choose local audio to route into it. Discord, Zoom and other apps/games listening to the virtual microphone then receive said audio.

Features

Manage playback in AudioPass -- switch between locally playing applications to route audio from, quickly select a physical mic if needed, or turn off all routing entirely.

Local Audio

Choose a locally running application or an audio file on disk (work-in-progress, coming soon) to route audio from.

AudioPass

Routes selected local audio into the virtual microphone.

Voice Chat Apps

Set Discord, Zoom, or a video game voice chat's voice input to the AudioPass Virtual Microphone.

Requirements

AudioPass is a Linux desktop app and needs PipeWire to function for virtual microphone routing. A more complete list of requirements can be found here.

AudioPass is open source and under development. Download it from the GitHub repository's Releases page or from itch.io (more platforms planned).
